⚠️ Important: Seeds are NOT trusted authorities. They only help you discover peers. All data is verified locally via signatures, checkpoints, and Bitcoin anchors.

What Happens Next?

1 Bootstrap Phase

Your node will connect to multiple seed sources (hardcoded seeds, DNS seeds, and signed manifests) to discover peers in the network.

2 Peer Discovery

Once connected to initial peers, your node will exchange peer addresses and build a diverse connection table for resilience.

3 Event Log Sync

Your node will sync the complete event log, verifying all signatures and Bitcoin anchors to ensure data integrity.

4 Ready to Serve

Once synced, your gateway can serve verification requests and help others bootstrap. You can optionally apply to become an operator after 90 days of proven uptime.
